Summer fun

Kaitlyn and Rachel have been visiting since Thursday. We have all had a great time. Doing crafts, cooking and playing. Tonight Kaitlyn lost her 5th tooth and is counting on the tooth fairy finding her at our house. Joelle wanted to lose something so she took out her posts and is going to wear regular ear rings. Rachel has lost her frown and is all smiles.

Twin Falls Temple

Here are some pictures that Caroline took of the Angle Moroni being placed on the Temple.

Mom and I went with my activty Day Group, to visit the Temple . We had a picnic lunch and went into the Visitors Trailer where we learned that the temple will only have a front entrance door. When I go to do baptisims for the dead I will get to walk throught the first floor of the temple to get to the baptisimal font

Time-out for women

Here it is.. the picture everyone has been waiting for--The one with curly hair and glasses is Michael McClain. We had a great time together and loved all of the speakers and music. The only down part was that Katie and Heather could not be with us.

Aspen Grove Fun

We had fun at Aspen Grove. Mom got all the arrows in the bear but the rest of us had fun trying to do as well as she did. On our way back to Provo we stopped at Bridal Veil Falls. My group leaders were fun. Their names were Brian and Mary. I went swimming with them and Heather came on our last swimming day. Our first day was a pirate day and we got to dress up like pirates and go on a treasure hunt. Our second day we had a traveling day around the world. I played soccor and learned how to say hello in different languages. I made a new friend named
Rebecca. She lives in Mesa, Arizona.

Avid reader

She did it! Joelle got over 150 AR points and received this t-shirt. She also got to go to a movie and pick a prize form the special prize closet.
Mark and Mira in Florida said that they make avid readers out of reluctant readers. Joelle is proof.
Great job!!!!!

4th grade Idaho History

To culminate Idaho history studies the 4th grade has a rendevous. The children bring things they have made to trade and they have a dutch oven lunch in the park. Joelle dressed up for the occasion. She took her personal cookbooks to trade and bean bags that she had made. Heather had made some of her famous cookies that she also took, but melted chocolate chip cookies in a plastic sandwich bag didn't make for a great trade.

First fish of the season

It's that time of year. Joelle has caught her fish. She and her dad love to take a few minutes in the evening and throw in their lines.

Joelle's Birthday

Joelle enjoyed a great birthday that spanned two days. She enjoyed skating with the family and on Sunday we had a cake and ice cream with our home teacher's family and some of the neighborhood. It is hard to believe that she is 10 years old.
